Ripagreen® at GaLaBau 2024: Recognition for the Green Blue Path

We are delighted to announce our participation in GaLaBau, which will be held in Nuremberg from 11 to 14 September 2024. This international trade fair is a must for professionals in the green spaces, sports, golf courses and urban infrastructure sectors.

But that’s not all! Ripagreen® is honoured to be accepted into the Green Blue Path programme, an initiative to promote sustainable practices and ecological innovations in the landscaping industry. This recognition underlines our commitment to environmentally-friendly solutions and our desire to make an active contribution to the ecological transition.

What is the Green Blue Path ?

The Green Blue Path is an award given to companies that stand out for their efforts in terms of sustainability and ecological innovation. For Ripagreen®, this means that our products meet strict criteria for reducing CO2 emissions, optimising energy efficiency and promoting biodiversity. Our inclusion in this programme is the result of our hard work to offer chemical-free, environmentally-friendly and effective thermal weed control solutions.

Ripagreen®, manufactured by SEFMAT, benefits from almost 100 years’ experience, guaranteeing the reliability and expertise of its products. • Low energy consumption: Our assembly processes consume very little energy. Our manufacturing lines use compressed-air screwing and crimping equipment, making our production very frugal. In addition, our manufacturing workshop has recently been equipped with LED lighting and a new-generation heating system to reduce our carbon footprint.
• Energy efficiency: Ripagreen® products are manufactured in France, minimising transport journeys. Our production lines are self-sufficient in terms of power supply, which means they can be switched off during periods of inactivity, optimising energy consumption according to seasonal needs. What’s more, our products are packaged to reduce the environmental impact of transport, like the Easy+ kit, which can fit on half a pallet.
• Use of environmentally-friendly materials : We select our suppliers, materials and packaging methods with a constant concern for environmental protection. We reduce our waste to a minimum and give preference to recyclable materials. We are constantly innovating in recycling and the use of bio-based gases, and we inform our customers of these initiatives. Internally, we carry out a range of ecological initiatives such as composting, a company vegetable garden, and waste sorting and recovery.
