## **Rethinking Outdoor Space Maintenance**

Faced with ecological transition challenges and the evolution of green space maintenance practices, local authorities and landscaping professionals are constantly seeking equipment that combines field efficiency with environmental respect. **[The ISKA Hybrid Pro](https://ripagreen.com/en/iska/)** was specifically designed to meet these daily operational challenges.

In summary :

Last September, the [**SalonVert 2026**](https://www.salonvert.com/en) trade show took place in Saint-Chéron, France, bringing together key players in the landscaping and outdoor maintenance sector. It was during this major event that RIPAGREEN® stood out by winning the prestigious Innovation Award in the "Sustainable Development" category for its new professional weed burner: the ISKA Hybrid Pro.

This recognition rewards several years of research and development aimed at providing a concrete, modern, and high-performance alternative to chemical herbicides.

## **ISKA Hybrid Pro: A High-Performance 2-in-1 Solution**

A true concentration of technological innovation, the device integrates several major advancements:

- **An unprecedented dual function:** It combines thermal weed control using pulsed hot air with an integrated blower function. This is ideal for quickly clearing leaves and debris before treating weeds.

- **An intelligent hybrid power supply:** The combination of gas energy (for heat generation) and **[a 18V CAS battery](https://cordless-alliance-system.com/en)** (for the electrical system).

- **Enhanced safety:** The flame remains strictly confined inside the device, ensuring secure operations for field crews and pedestrians in public spaces.

Consuming neither water nor pesticides, this solution integrates seamlessly into the sustainability and municipal weed removal strategies of local authorities and landscaping contractors.

## **A Confirmed Ambition for International Growth**

Already praised by over 10,000 communities and organizations, the **[RIPAGREEN®](https://ripagreen.com/en/)** brand is reaching a new milestone with this award. This Innovation Award reinforces the company's international expansion strategy, addressing universal challenges regarding operator safety and chemical-free alternatives.

This recognition at SalonVert 2026 demonstrates the capacity of Groupe SEFMAT's engineering teams to design sustainable equipment built by and for field professionals.
